Hello? Is there anybody out there?
OK, lets take a step back. That game did indeed suck. No reason that we couldn't get a shot off at the end of the game. Hot Rod and AJ Rat didn't step up. Apparently, they can't, just can't drive to the hoop. AJ thinks he's the new Bracey Wright.
We were missing the senior point guard and had our MVP sitting on the bench with 4 fouls for a long time. Stemrod had a sprain and couldn't hardly draw iron. Bendeman logged many minutes.
Not good signs for IU.
No one can understand why they can't win on the road. It has to be mental. I hate to say it, but Sampson needs to find a way to get these guys to play away from AH. It falls on him to get them ready for the road. Injuries aside, we had a chance to steal that game and I think our coaching lacked creativity at the end. Amaker called a timeout, which I thought was a mistake, and gave Sampson an opportunity to set up a play. I don't know what they did in the huddle, but nothing really materialized. They had a horrible end of the first half as well by not getting a good shot.
I say they need to run the table to get their mojo back.
