USC Upstate lost their opener to Nebraska by a score of 76-49. USC Upstate did hang around for quite a while in this game as they were only down 34-30 early in the second half, but then got outscored 42-19 the rest of the way. They did not have a single player score in double figures.
The most interesting player on the USC Upstate roster is Nick Schneiders, a 7'3" 260 pound senior from Germany. Schneiders had 8 points, 8 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 5 turnovers in their opener. Last year, Schneiders averaged 9.5 ppg, 6.5 rpg, and 2.6 bpg.
Prediction: Our point guard Jeremiah Rivers is going to throw a dunk down in the face of this 7'3" German.
Score Prediction: IU 87 USC Upstate 62

Yes, he is supposed to announce this morning and it seems like IU is the favorite. If that's the case, I would consider Sheehey another potential piece to the puzzle. Selby would be the crown jewel.
Does anybody know what a USC Upstate is? I would HATE to lose to one of those, whatever it is.

I can only imagine Andy's face when he was scrolling through his List on DirectTV. "Well this show looks interesting. This must be something I taped from HGTV. Let me take a gander at 'Put My 4 x4 in Your (Word has removed because of Vulgar Language).'"
First, it's inexcusable to forget to record the IU game because you are in a hurry to go watch Jordan Crawford and Xavier.
Second, I honestly thought "Hoosier Daddy" was more IU programming.
